CyberPatriot is an Air Force Association (AFA) initiative to create a national high school cyber defense competition. AFA is partnering with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GD AIS), the Center for Information Assurance and Security (CIAS) at the University of Texas at San Antonio, Civil Air Patrol (CAP), and the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) to build the human component of cyber security.

Likely the largest live high school cyber defense competition ever staged, CyberPatriot II included nearly 200 high school AFJROTC and CAP teams from 42 states and Japan in simultaneous competition.
